Bob Mackenzie Elected as Voting Member of GSA Board of Directors

MEI, a leading supplier of note acceptors used in the worldwide casino gaming industry is pleased to announced that Bob Mackenzie, MEI Director of Engineering-Gaming, was recently elected as a voting member on the Board of Directors of the Gaming Standards Association (GSA).

Bob Mackenzie has helped lead the charge towards the adoption of new protocols for peripheral devices such as bill acceptors, coin acceptors, and other payment devices. Bob co-authored the adopted "B-Link Serial Protocol" for note acceptors and played a key role in the development of GDS USB specifications. He has a number of patents to his credit and is considered one of the top innovators in new payment technologies. “I am honored to be elected a voting member of GSA,” said Mackenzie. “MEI has a great relationship with GSA, my recent election will help strengthen this relationship and MEI’s participation in GSA.”
